Krystin Swift, BS, CSCS
Krystin has been in the fitness industry for over 11 years. She earned a B.S. in exercise science form the University of Massachusetts and has continued to increase her education and experience through various certifications and classes. Krystin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has worked with a variety of people from a 14 year old male basketball player to an 81 year old female starting an exercise program for the first time. She specializes in working with those with past injuries by focusing on posture and correct exercise form to help reduce pain while increasing strength.
Throughout high school and college, Krystin was a springboard diver. She dove for a division I program at Umass and continues to be a part of the swimming and diving community by coaching at Montclair State University. Her life has always full of activities, including, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, running and most recently training for a triathlon. Krystin’s 2 year old son, William, keeps her very active now.
Krystin believes we are all athletes, from someone who has to carry groceries into their house to someone who trains daily for an event. She says, “Strength and cardiovascular fitness are so important for quality of life that exercise needs to be part of your lifestyle, not just something you do for an hour three times a week. Creating a healthier lifestyle will make you physically stronger for your daily activities and mentally stronger to get you through those days.”
