Ellen Babajko, BA

Ellen has over 25 years experience in the fitness industry, with a wide array of roles including, Instructor, Personal Trainer, Children’s Fitness Director, Group Exercise Coordinator and Director.  She is certified as a Personal Trainer and pre- and post- natal specialist through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, as a Group Exercise Instructor through the American Council on Exercise, has a Senior Fitness Certification through Senior Fitness Association, and is a Certified Spin Instructor through Madd Dogg Athletics.  Ellen has a degree in History and Education from the University of San Francisco.

Ellen specializes in sport specific workouts.  She has taught boot camp to our nation’s finest marines in Kansas and trained two semi-pro hockey teams in Kentucky.

Once a competitive athlete, Ellen was the first female athlete from Midland Park High School to receive a collegiate athletic scholarship to the University of Scranton.  She is now enjoying being a spectator for her children’s endeavors.  Her son Jimmy, 13, plays soccer and baseball and her daughter Christie, 22, coaches high school softball.

She loves working with all age groups and fitness levels.  Ellen developed fitness parties for kids long before it was fashionable.  Being a working mother herself, she can empathize with time constraints and low energy levels.

Ellen’s philosophy is simple.  “If it fits in your day, you’ll do it.  If it’s fun to do, you’ll LIKE to do it.  When you see results, you’ll LOVE to do it!  I hope to bring out the athlete in all of us.  The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
