Testimonial:
I have been training with Derek since November 2008 and have enjoyed the group training sessions for many reasons.
To motivate a group of women at 5:30AM in the morning is challenging enough. Derek has motivated me to concentrate on my form instead of quickly getting through the exercises. It isn’t quantity but the quality of the exercise that has given me results.
Training with Derek has been very inspiring as he is extremely knowledgeable of the exercises that will provide the best results. He confidently pushes you when he knows you can handle the challenge. By taking traditional core exercises and adding creative elements to them, makes them more challenging with faster and results more apparent.
The words “I can’t do this” do not exist in his training sessions. When you say I can’t do any more, we are motivated to push through... how exhilarating!
As a bonus of working with Derek’s group, my running time has improved and I now can run an 8 min. mile vs. my traditional 10 min. miles. I have gained strength in weight lifting and have learned over 40 new exercises.
His knowledge, education, patience and creativity have placed Derek in an elite personal training category.
Derek is a dedicated and well rounded trainer that has encouraged me to push myself to the next level. He is an asset to Ethos and I would recommend his training sessions to every individual no matter what level of fitness.
Cordially,
